I just picked this Model 94 up today for $348 today here in Washington State. I’m hoping I got a decent deal on it? It was $319 plus tax. I see that it ranges on Gunbroker.

This dealer would not move at all and I couldn’t let it sit. It should be a decent shooter I’d think.

This is the second Taurus I own, my other is a Model 66 .357.

Anyone know the date range of manufacture? Serial is JD727xx.

I’d be interested in your thoughts.

A very nice find, very nice indeed. It looks to be in excellent shape.

My thoughts exactly, BigBlue. And that's a pretty good deal; you'd have to work hard to do better, I'd think, and you'd have had to deal with shipping and FFL info transfer and all that hassle. Well done finding and buying in person.

I called Taurus to get some info on this Model 94 today.

They told me it left the factory on 6/15/1990 and went to AJ’s Wholesale Guns in Phoenix Arizona.

That's a good price. My circa 2004 2" model 94 cost about the same has given great service since day one.

If you ever grow tired on it you won't have any problems finding it a new home.
