    856 Pocket Holster Help

Hi all, I'm hoping someone might be able to help me.

I've got a new 856 UL in matte black, and am trying to find someone who makes a kydex pocket holster for it, or alternately, a kydex pocket holster for another revolver that will fit this.

In addition to the 856 I've got a 605 and a S&W 442. The 856 fits some of the holsters I own, but none of the holsters I want, if you know what I mean. Barring not being able to find a kydex pocket holster, a recommendation for a thin leather pocket holster would be great too.

    Thanks!

I've been interested in a pocket holster for my 605 also...I'll tag along to see what the group has to say! Thanks!

I use this with a Ruger LCRX.

it is durable, effective, comfortable, and inexpensive.

A Kydex pocket holster probably would be uncomfortable. Also, there is a good possibility that when you reach the pistol, the pistol and holster would come out instead of just the pistol.

There are other options, Google it.

Sorry, but we're going to agree to disagree. Kydex is what I like. They are not uncomfortable. You may want to put a quilted cloth holster in your pocket, but that's just adding thickness to it that I don't like or see as necessary. Also hoping to spend more than $7 on a holster.... Sorry Uncle Mike!

For my 605 I use a Safariland Model 25 or an Aholster Pocket Backbone kydex holster made for a S&W 442. It fits the 605 just fine.

I have the 3 revolvers above...856UL; 605; and S&W 442. A kydex that will fit all three is a BORAII pocket holster. They sell one for the Taurus 85 but I don't have an 85 nor do I know if it would fit the other revolvers. However, if you get the one for the J-frame it will work on both Taurus revolvers.

I REALLY, and I mean REALLY like this holster for the 605, 856, 642, LCR, LCRx, K6s. Same holster in the link fits each of the guns perfectly with great retention while drawing.

Thanks! The last one is on the way. For under 17 bucks and with your recommendation I can't go wrong. Another carry option is always a good thing and I won't carry a naked revolver...or any gun for that matter ..in my pocket.
