    Taurus Model 66

I bought a Taurus Model 66 with a 6" barrel. The gun is in excellent shape and was made in the 80's? Anyone have any information regarding this gun, value, etc?

Blued or nickel? I don't believe they made Stainless Steel in the 80's but I could be wrong.

I just bought a late 80's Taurus M65 in nickel with a 4" barrel. Very nice shape, tight lockup, with a little holster wear, nickel still all there, $225. The guy thought it was a M85 and the crane marking sure looks like a 85, but the 85 only came in 38 special not .357.

This alleged revolver sounds very nice... in theory.

I have one, stainless. After a few trip to the mothership for correction of a problem, it is now one of my favorites. It goes to the range EVERY time, and to the woods frequently.

Hi Bruntson, yeah it's blued with a little holster wear. The gun shoots great. i read it was made when Taurus and Smith & Wesson were together in the mid 80's.
