    older .38 special trigger spring

I have an older Taurus .38 special with no other markings that mean anything except a 738xxx serial number and Made in Brazil. My issue is all the photos and videos I am finding show a different trigger spring with holes to stick paperclip size pins into to hold the springs depressed. In the case of this particular weapon the trigger spring is enclosed in a rectangular piece of metal with a slot that allows the whole piece to slide back as the trigger is depressed.
Can anyone please explain how to finish disassembly?

No answer from me.....but, look at a S&W Improved "I" frame or a very early S&W "J" frame. They are similar; in my minds eye, anyway.
