Could use some help with an M82

I picked up an old M82 It's supposed to be a LE trade I'd like to figure out how old It Is, I've already got a goose egg from the serial# look up.
I did message Taurus still waiting I also contacted the place I bought It they did give me the name of the distributor they got It from so I'm still working on It.
In the meantime I'd welcome any comment's,guesses physic visions thanks.

it's possible mid to late 80's, or very early 90's. Most likely international sales is also why it doesn't show.

There's no Import mark on It just the Taurus Int Miami FL one.
Also It appears to me that the frame pin that helps secure the grips Is also a bit on the large side, I'm sure
that's just me I haven't owned a Taurus med frame revolver In 20 years.

Unfortunately the Taurus serial number look up does not work well with guns prior to the 1980s and sometimes not well in the 1990s as already noted by maloy. There are exceptions to that of course.

You do seem to have a nice specimen there.

Thanks for you're help, that list confirmed the response i received from Taurus

"Hello John! Than you for contacting Taurus USA! This firearm was sold to Valor Corporation Of Florida in 1994.
Thank you for choosing Taurus USA and have a great day! Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance"

    Taurus USA

However I've found little on that business
