    A Picture for bigblue44

I received a PM from bigblue44 asking for a pic of my M380 with wood grips from our favorite vendor on eBay- our Thailand connection- but for some unknown reason, I could not post a picture from my computer in my reply. The only picture option was from a url.

Sooo- I will try to accommodate his request here in the open forum.

    There we go!

So as to open this thread to additional comment, let me report that the DA trigger on the M380 is stout, to be complimentary. You may note in the pic above a moon clip full of snap caps. They, and multiple evenings of trigger exercise, have had negligible impact. This does not mean that I dislike the M380. It is actually one of my favorite Taurus's. It does mean that a lightweight, concealable revolver that I bought in hopes that my wife would carry has ended up in my safe. Be advised...

I've never seen one in person.
It is a cute little bugger............
    Those grips are gorgeous..............

I have seen articles on Mouse Gun Addict about
lightening up the trigger. Don't know how involved that gets though.

There are only two options as I see it.
Either I'm right, or there is a sinister
conspiracy to conceal the fact that I'm right.

I don't have mine anymore, but yeah the trigger is a bit of a bear. The frame is a bit shorter than the 85, it is a bit more compact. Handy little gun but zero fun at the range.

Beautiful picture! I have never shot an M380, and being that's one of my favorite flavors caliber-wise I would like to try one t least once. Yeah - heavy triggers get to be literally a pain at the range. It's not like a rimfire where the spring has to be so heavy to get the round to go off' ...maybe it's a lawyer trigger? Just checked Wolff springs and the M380 is not listed as one they have aftermarket springs for....

I'd love to see pics of any M380 revolvers with low profile replacement grips. I love that bull head rubber grip but I think I might like something a little smaller/thinner for pocket carry. Let's see what you got. Thanks

It's not a M380 but an M85 with my favorite low profile grips. Uncle Mike's boot grips.
