    Feeling left out

Maybe it's just me but in a world of semi autos being a revolver guy seems I'm left out. Everything now days is geared toward semi auto Holesters lights laser you name it they got it, I've always liked the simplicity of a wheel gun but try an find a decent OWB holester that fits snug to the side you're got your work cut out for you. Business opportunity? Revolver accessories.

I like wheel guns myself but have mostly autos. There's a lot more cheap,
good quality autos out there than there are cheap, good quality revolvers.

Looking at Buds Gun Shop any Ruger revolver starts at $500. You can get a
Taurus or Rossi starting at about $300 However that PT-111 goes for $239.

Don't know and cannot imagine it costs more to make a revolver. Just making
    more money.

    All the Best,

My guess would be that modern revolvers don't cost more to make than modern all metal pistols, but both are definitely more expensive to make than poly pistols.

Simply Rugged makes some nice holsters for revolvers.

I'm just surprised that the Turks have not introduced any revolvers in to the US market.

You're not alone. Although I have more semi-autos than revolvers, I have all the revolvers that I want. My first handgun was a revolver and they are still my preference, my first love. Just to show how old fashioned I am, I also like lever action rifles.

Total jerk response: Quit yer whining! Just go turn your brain off and buy a Glock if you want to have lots of magazine covers to tape inside the door of your safe and holsters from every manufacturer on earth! While you're at it, trade in your Mustang for a Toyota Camry and never leave the house in anything but blue jeans and a white shirt! Gad, take pride in thinking for yourself, and if you want a cool holster so dang bad, do what I did and go learn to make them! And if accessories mean more to you than choosing a handgun that fits your needs well, just get one of these!

Reasonable response: I know how you feel. I've about had enough of poly guns. I'm not saying I'm getting rid of mine or anything, they have their uses, but I'm getting awfully used to having a hunk of metal(s) on my hip with a trigger that can't even be approached by anything with a plastic trigger. And revolvers have real advantages; no feeding issues, no worries about bullet setback for those $286/box fancy-schmanzy hollowpoints, and did I mention the triggers? You have to look a little harder for accessories, but how many accessories meet real needs, and how many are just tacticool money pits? There are Crimson Trace grips if you have to have a laser, and some simple nail polish will really improve the sights of most concealed carry revolvers.

Pandering response: No kidding! I think I'm going to start a revolver advocacy group! From now on, every "look at my new gun" post that's about a semi, or heaven forbid, a ploy-framed semi, is going to get a four-paragraph lecture from me about those overhyped lemming's guns! I've put all my semiautos in a cement mixer with a bag of lug nuts, and I'm not turning that mixer off until the power plant runs dry! And then I'm melting down whatever comes out of the mixer to make speedloaders for whreal guns!

I'm a wheel gun guy. However, my ration of auto's versus revolvers is 50/50. This totals 16 handguns alone.
Primary carry are the UL 85's. I own 3, which have become vehicle back ups.
Holsters of choice are The Masc, Turkish styles.

    I'm satisfied with my choices.
