    model 85 poly protector

    Name: poly protector.JPG
Views: 447
Size: 1.49 MBJust picked up the poly protector yesterday. Had to sell my G2 'cause arthritis combined with ruptured discs in neck got so bad I could no longer be sure I could rack the slide on any given day. Mu question is for those carrying the protector for CCW. What holster do you use. My 'overhang' precludes appendix carry. Any input would be appreciated.

Congratulations on the new possession, but the denizens of this forum require photographic corroboration of any claim to dispel any concern that the content of said post is NOT factitious confabulation. In other words,

Congrats on your poly protector. One of the LGS hers has the white and green zombie version. Sings to me like a Siren anytime I get close!

Appendix carry does not work for me either for the same reason. I do carry my Charter Arms undercover at 4 o'clock in a versa carry. I do need an undergarment for it to be comfortable though.

Scalpel, my humble apologies for my mental lapse in failing to supply pictorial evidence of my recent purchase of my protector poly. Please note that I have edited my submission to correct that gross oversight. Hopefully I can now secure the desired information to the original question broached regarding holsters for said revolver.

Greg_R, I read an article recently that there have been some problems with versa carry causing damage to barrels over time. Possibility of leaving residue from the rod in the barrel.

I use Zombie-Max in mine, LOL. But mine is green. The tip in the Zombie Max is almost exactly the same color as the grip.
