Bummer....M94 going to go to Miami

Well crap. Just over 1000 rounds through my Model 94 now. Took her out today, and while she was accurate as ever, on her 2nd cylinder full, she started spitting lead back at me. On the third cylinder it was worse. Timing must be off. Oh well. Glad I have a lifetime warranty. I'll be calling Miami tomorrow (or on the 2nd).

Agreed, sorry to hear your revolver is having issues. Hopefully Taurus will get it fixed and back to you pronto.

Well, waited for over 30 minutes on hold for CS this morn. Gave up. On a whim, I called Bass Pro Shops (where I bought the gun in March 2012) and as it turns out, they are shipping it out to Taurus for me @ no charge. Thanks Bass Pro!

Taurus will make it right (even if it takes a time or two).
Please advise the outcome. A 94 is #1 on my "next" list, & I'm studying all posts I can find on the model #94.

Your gun will come back relaxed, ready to go, with a nice tan and a hint of a Cuban accent.....

Yup. I know it will be gone for a few weeks, but I miss it already. I have become a fan of the gun due to it's accuracy and the fact that it holds 9 rounds. Oh, and that it only cost $300 (as compared to my SP101-22LR @ $550, and my buddy's S&W 617 @ nearly $800). Looking forward to shooting it again soon.

I found a 1989 M94 22 last week at a local gun shop, 5 in blued with mint wood grips, in 90plus condition. Put on layaway and from the info I read these were high quality production revolvers and modeled like a model 17 S&W ..(except they were 6 round) back then. Good luck with it.

Just posting an update here. Called Miami yesterday (was only on hold for 5 or so minutes), and they let me know all of the parts they replaced (I forget them all). Sure didn't seem like it would have needed that many parts, but oh well. CS was extremely helpful and courteous, so props to them!! Gave me a FedEx tracking number, so I should be able to pick it up sometime this coming week. Sure hope she retains her original accuracy!
