    TX 22 ejection problems

    Hello, New guy here.

Have a TX22 that has performed well with the factory installed sights. I now have installed an ADE red dot with a Lakeline adapter plate.

Now I have problems with some shells do not eject and they get caught in the slide at closure.

Anybody have these problems when Red Dot installed ?

Do you think the added weight is causing the slide to not retract all the way and eject.

Happened today on sight in with about 8 failure to eject out of about 60 rounds thru.

Otherwise I love the gun. Any help appreciated.

    Jack

Red dot is too heavy, slowing the action of the slide.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Any idea of a fix, lighter recoil spring or more power in the bullets maybe CCI mags ?

William railed it. Try higher velocity rounds.
