    TX22 firing with safety engaged

Hello everyone....I am the proud owner of the TX22. I have owned 2 the first was an original model when first released and now a newer OD Green one. I have to say other than ejection issues after many many rounds suppressed which was corrected with a quick wipe down and lube, I have been very pleased. But today on another facebook group I am on, a gentleman stated he was looking for a forum for the TX22 due to his firing when the safety was engaged. I advised him of this forum and that he was the first I had ever heard of with this issue. Has anyone here heard of such an issue?

    Welcome.

I've probably read every post on this forum about the TX22, and I've never seen anyone here ask about it or discuss it. There are a few TX22 owners on here (not me) so hopefully some will chime in.

No Safety on my early model, but I've not heard of the TX firing with the Safety "on" either.

I have an early version of the TX22 w/safety. Got it the same month as announced. I just tested mine, and it does not fire with the safety on, no matter how hard I pull the trigger.

Have them contact Taurus to discuss that as that's really odd?

I don't understand why every thread that reports any kind of problem at all, is quickly shuffled off to another area. Let them remain in the sections to which they relate.
