Gun stores here carry them, and buy them used, no snobbery in South Dakota!
There are "four boxes" that can be employed to resist the downfall of America, the ballot box, the soap box, the jury box and, lastly, the ammo box.

Just got my Millenium PRO and PT24/7 both in .45cal back from Taurus today. It took 6 months for their return after declining the offer to replace them with G2's in 9mm. No money was available. I guess I should be happy I got my pistols back but since the 24/7 had already been back to Taurus once for firing while the safety was on with a round chambered...well, I guess I feel screwed. No I'm not happy about any of the settlement. By the way, I shipped on 12/28/2017 and the FEDEX lady just put them back in my hands today. 3 month turn-around. Right.

So, you are saying that if you set the safety, with your finger off the trigger, that you could pull the trigger and it would fire the round chambered?

Yes. Taurus repaired my PT111MilPro and returned to me early on. I've had two recoil springs for same on order for 2 years - expect I'll never see them. They also replaced both my PT140MP's - 1-SS, 1-Blk with G2's. All three were returned at same time in early days of recall - took about 9 months start to finish, if I recall correctly. I was actually happy they returned my PT111MP as it had a "TEX" serial number prefix.

Still have 3 ea. PT24/7's, but hesitant to return as I do not want or need another 111 or 140 G2 which I consider not a equivalent to my PT24/7, particularly my .40 PT24/7 PRO DS LS. As I mentioned in another thread, I'd actually contact courts about Taurus stealing from me or even lawyer up - it's not about the money, it's the principle.

    From the settlement terms:
Replacement pistols will be shipped directly to the Federal Firearms Licensed dealer …The dealer may require you to complete standard background check forms before transferring the replacement pistol to you. You may seek reimbursement from Taurus for fees associated with the transfer process.
Taurus reimbursed me for both FFL fees on my two PT140G2 replacements. My FFL waived his $20 fee each (said I was basically getting my own gun back and he didn't believe it should cost me extra). I told him to charge me and I paid him and got receipt. Took Taurus about 30 days to cut check.

Had my dealer sent my Pt111 Mill Pro stainless in end of December 2018, haven't heard anything yet. Paid $375 for it, competition has driven compact handgun prices down a lot since then.
