As an aside I checked out YouTube and found broken colt, flock, walther,Beretta,Sig slides...Man, I'M GONNA SWITCH TO AIRSOFT....
I've been following my serial number at the website. It arrived without issue. Then the "under repair" changed to "under review". It was there for a week and today it's all gone. I don't think my number exists anymore and its in 380 heaven...

That is the way my TCP's progress looked. Once it is slated for replacement/destruction, the old serial number won't track the replacement's process. I would call Taurus CS and see when the replacement will ship. Sometimes they are waiting on an FFL copy that a phone call from you can shake lose. Plus they run any replacement gun through an extra round of tests before shipping it out.

I recently did a similar test using Google's images rather than YouTube. Nothing made my the hand of man is perfect. Any company can produce a lemon.
RIP, TCP. Hope you get a new one ASAP!

So Sad that lil fella never had a chance
That's what I figured. Mr Kresser is supposed to get back to me on the" autopsy". Otherwise, I'll contact him in a few weeks. Still waiting on some injury stuff to sort out.
I've been carrying my 709, but I must say shooting it the other day gave me the creeps. Its my only polymer non 22 lr. I was pretty paranoid shooting it. The pt1911,pt 92 and Beretta 92 ran fine and I was confident.

This guy's m&p exploded right outta the box and smith/Wesson offered to sell him a discounted New pistol....wow....
Here's hoping they get you a new one quickly.
I believe the disappearing serial number is a problem with their system? I have 2 guns there at the moment, one will be a replacement and the other a repair. Both serial numbers are blank when I check them, one did show under review, the other awaiting repair. Giving it a few days to see if they get the situation straightened out with the website?
If it makes you feel any better, mine went from received, to under repair, to received, i then got a shipping notice email, to under repair, and two days later the online status changed to repaired, i had it in my hand before the online checker said shipped.
