I love my PT1911AL(mine doesn't have the rail).

Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

Got myself a new PT1911 AR 45cal. with rail few weeks back. Managed to get to the range with my son and 100rounds 230grain FMJ centerfire ammo today and shoot at 15yards. The PT 1911 AR performed as advertized. Good balance, smooth feed no failure except on two instance both w/ 8-rounds on the mag, failed to chamber the top round on both occasion. I have to pull back the slide to chamber the first round. Used 7-round load on the mag for the rest of the test fires: no snugs, shoot fine, feed fine, slides smoothly. This is one great engineering work, I love this piece, Now I know why people always goes back to the 1911 specially the 45 cal. It provide a good bang which you want to hear when shooting a large hole on the target and a manageable recoil and feel robust. To the people from Taurus you are doing a great job!Target evaluation next!

Congratulations on your PT1911, I think you'll be well served by it for a long time to come.

Excellent Choice!! Those Taurus 1911AL's have be the classiest looking of the Taurus 1911 line. I have one and would like to add another one to my collection before they get downright hard to find too.
