    I don't need it, I don't need it, I want it, but I don't need it....

I am hanging on to all of my will power at this point. I'm watching an auction that ends in just over 3 hours on a PT1911 .45acp in not just stainless, but Polished Stainless finish. I was wanting one to do some parts cross dressing between one of my blued versions and a stainless. The last blue PT1911 I paid $440 including shipping for NIB with 2 magazines. This polished stainless NIB, 2 magazines, holster, dual magazine belt holster and no Taurus billboard on the slide would come to $565 including shipping.

So part of my inner wallet lack of justification is would the end results be worth the cost to have two custom duo-tone mirror image PT1911 pistols?

I could sell that little baby version of a 1911 Sig P238 with the night sights and Crimson Trace laser to cover most of the cost of the PT1911 PSS I guess. It's not like I really like that Sig to begin with.

What to do, what to do?

She could really care less one way or the other. She is not into firearms other than to nod her head if I show her one that followed me home.

Not to mention they are some of the less expensive items that I have ever gotten into collecting. What ever I invest in firearms she knows is like my having invested in the metals commodity market. The value may go up, it may go down, but if you get into it priced carefully they will hold their value.

On the flip side, when she goes to the Casino I don't say anything when the trip doesn't go so well.

She is not what I would call an enabler, more of an understanding wife.

I echo your sentiments! When I bought my M327 Sunday, I saw a nice VZ58 on the shelf for
with a folding stock for about $ 550.00. I don't need another AK style rifle but I'm thinking
about taking another look at it Friday if it is still there.

I finally got the planting done in the garden. It took two days so finally I'll get the chance
to shoot that M327 soon. I'll provide a range report when I do.
