Congratulations Sig! Glad to see you as a sponsor! Are you going to deal in ammo also?

Unfortunatley there are no deals to be had on ammo. At least at this point. As far as I can tell the Wally world lotto is the best/cheapest way to go

How about getting in with some of the importers and bulk ammo like Hot Shot .223?

While you mention it...need to borrow, for a few years at least a 1911 for testing purposes. That long just so that I can make my mind up.

Let me be the First to write a glowing report on R&M firarms. I just met him today to complete the transaction on my new baby. Went very smooth, he had the gun exactly when promised and was able to get a gun I had been having trouble finding. Oh an it doesnt hurt either that he beat my local dealers best price by $71.
Hope all you guys will give him a shot when you are looking for that next gun.

Congrats on the new venture! I used to sell fire and safety equipment to municipalities and it works two ways. If the department purchases the equipment you need to find the decision maker and/or the purchasing agent...they may or may not be the same person and either/or can influence or control the specs or vendor. Large cities will have a bidder list and will copy you in on their planned acquisitions and will cut your throat for a penny. Should the LEO's buy their own equipment you need to visit their station preferably around shift change to meet as many people as possible passing out your card, talking about new equipment, wife, kids, etc. Best of luck with the biz.

Edit: Municipal customers can take forever to pay your invoice. Many vendors will factor that in to their price bid or you could end up being their bank.
“Historically, freedom is a rare and fragile thing . . . Freedom has cost the blood of millions in obscure places and in historic sites ranging from Gettysburg to the Gulag Archipelago . . .That something that cost so much in human lives should be surrendered piecemeal in exchange for visions and rhetoric seems grotesque. Freedom is not simply the right of intellectuals to circulate their merchandise. It is, above all, the right of ordinary people to find elbow room for themselves and a refuge from the rampaging presumptions of their ‘betters’.” Thomas Sowell
