Spectrum trigger is too long and curved too much

Does anyone else think the spectrum trigger is too long and curved forward too much? The point at the end of the trigger ends up being painful after shooting. I was thinking about sanding off the end, maybe an 1/8 inch or so. Any thoughts?

    Thanks.

Hmmm...I have admittedly small hands/fingers so it hasn't been an issue for me. However, reflecting up on my Spectrum's trigger with your post in mid, I can see where the trigger shape/length could be problematic for those with larger hands/fingers.

I'm interested to see how you feel after your adjustment.

Yep my spectrum had a painful trigger as well, pinch my skin on trigger finger. I sanded the point off to more of a radius. Started with 1000 grit, then finished with 1500 grit. Whats interesting is - I've seen some spectrum triggers with the sharp point and some with a flatter point.

Gotta wonder if Taurus has updated the trigger shoe.

I did the same as silverstring, and sanded off that God awful toe from the trigger before ever firing one round.

Mine is a Model # 1007031101 and has the longer pointier shoe, never paid it much attention, I just have a number of other 380's and have stopped carrying 380's out of the house, except mailbox, I just seem to carry others around the house.
