    Colored Inlays

    Are the colored inlays interchangeable?

I assume the entire polymer frame is in that color, so you'd have to change out the whole frame. You should be able to get a parts diagram from somewhere (probably the owner manual) and see if it is, in fact, all one part.

I checked with customer service a couple of months ago about buying the grip part #1, left slide panel part #29 and right slide panel part #30 as I wanted to change colors on my gun...they would not sell me the parts.

Wouldn't hurt to call customer service and see if they have changed their policy.

that anything is interchangeable with a big enough hammer , and of course some Duct Tape or Super Glue!

According to Taurus, the customer should never disassemble the firearm beyond what we call “field strip”. Because of lawyers Taurus wants you to send the firearm to them for any further disassembly. They enforce this by restricting parts availability. Right or wrong it seems to be their standard operational procedure. Therefore, disassembly to accomplish what you have described should be preformed only by the factory or a Taurus certified gunsmith.
This sounds like Taurus is blowing smoke up our skirts, especially since other firearm manufacturers do send parts to owners. But it is their circus, and WE can choose where we spend our money.

No. I've never read anything saying the colored inserts can be changed, and this article specifically says they can't. https://www.americanrifleman.org/art...ectrum-pistol/

Yes part #1 (Grip) is all one part. With the grip and 2 removable slide inserts you could change colors to your hearts content if Taurus chose to sell these parts to customers.

The "inserts" on the grip itself are not changeable...the grip is all one part...see schematic...you'd have to be able to buy the grip and the 2 slide inserts to make color changes.
