Back in the Taurus "fold" with a Spectrum

I stumbled across one at a prominent dealer in Phoenix today. Their website said they had one in stock, and when I went there to check it out, the guys at the counter didn't realize one had come in. I asked them to look in the back, and, viola! An all black one. After checking it out, I bought it. $240.xx.

The guys in the gun shop had to check it out before they let me take it home. I won't have a chance to take it to the range until early next week, but I'm really looking forward to it!

Congratulations! It's good to see these showing up in the hands of the public now. Let us know how it performs!

Will do. I have high hopes for this little gun, because if it performs extremely well, and my wife likes it, I'll get her one in the teal/white/gray color combo (when they become available).

Mine came with a 6 round mag (in the pic) and a 7 round extended mag. I do not know if they are specific to the Spectrum, or are shared w/another Taurus pistol. The mags say "Made In Italy", so I assume they are made by Mec Gar - a quality manufacturer.

So what's the trigger pull like? We've seen the numbers in lbs, but not heard how it actually feels. Give it a bit of the ol' dry fire and let us know, please.

So right now, I would say it is pretty gritty. It is a long deliberate pull, but not overly-so at all. I like it, and think it is appropriate for a pocket gun like this. I will clean it, and throw some quality lube at it before the first range trip.
