    Roll pin specs:
    .786" long
    .144 diameter

This may be a good time to replace that boot grip with a new Hogue 3 finger grip ( Taurus small frame revolver size ), then won't have to use that missing pin.

I have been looking at other grips for It, It's been wearing a pair of old Pachmayr rubber compaq grips that I love, give you one guess what Isn't being made anymore I have seen a wood version though and the J-frame version fit's(mostly) but, doesn't cover the hole on the left side of the frame.
Are the hogue any good for pocket carry?
P.S. this Is the problem with J-frame grips.

Eveyone's grip ergos are different. For me the Hogue is easier to conceal, I believe it is thinner than either the Taurus boot grip, and the Pachmayr boot grip. In fact it is close in dimensions to the now extinct Uncle Mike's 59008 ( my previous favorite sm frame Taurus grip). But I have large hands and need that 3 finger grip. As far as weight, the Taurus boot grip is the lightest, the Pachmayr is the heaviest IMHO.
