    Rear Sight Replacement

I have a Tracker 627, and although not needed, I'd like to replace the rear sight blade with one that has a white outline. I know I can paint one, but I'd prefer to change it out. Has anyone done this, and which sight would you recommend? Thanks!

I hate to follow my original post, but after daily struggles on the internet, and burning up bandwidth looking at sites, it appears that (by looks anyway) that the closest rear sight assembly that I can find to replace the factory rear sight assembly on my 627 is from a Colt Python (older model). Definitely are look-alikes, but darn if I can find any dimensions for either assembly. So, has anyone done any comparisons? I'd like to find out as much as possible before I delve into buying one.

Never say never. I purchased the Python rear sight from Kensight, got it in today, and after a kettle resizing (0.2" on the sides and 0.3" in the end, it fit perfectly onto the Taurus 627.

    Just wanted to share.

    Good information! Thanks.
