I've recently purchased a spectrum and i have have larger hands. The length of pull makes my finger placement awkward at full pull. I'm looking for options on shorten the trigger travel to help compensate for that. I might also wanna add some kind grip build up on the back. Any suggestions are welcome and thanks in advance.

You might look at the new Hogue grip sleeves with beavertail. That should move you grip back about 1/4". Or one to two sets of traction grips , which will increase the width and depth of the grip frame.
