Rossi Replacement On The Way Soon I Hope

Jasmine chat today after I missed their phone call. They are proposing sending a Model 605 2" in stainless to replace my R 462-2. I asked if they could replace it with a six shooter...no is the answer. Had to get my FFL to resend his certificate, she said I have to request reimbursement for his fee. They will not ship directly to my house. I also wanted to confirm the 50.00 inconvenience fee in addition to the FFL charge...she said that the 50.00 is not confirmed yet. This sounds like another bait and switch possibly. That 50.00 will help make me whole on the deal since I paid close to 300 for the Rossi.

Will update more when it actually arrives at my FFL.

At least there is some movement in a positive direction.

So your revolver was only in their possession for less than a month and it's garbage? Do they leave messages on you phone or is it up to us to call or chat every day or two?
The $50 is not cut in stone yet. Court deliberation is Aug. 27th

Mine's in the inspection phase so I should be expecting a call any day.

I had to look back when I posted their receipt of the revolver...it was 8/6/19. 17 days to inspect and make the determination is LIGHTNING fast for Taurus. Maybe they are making up for the 15 months with the PT 145 SS.

Wow, They must be selecting at random from the pile of returns. I guess mine is on the bottom of the pile with the newer returns on the top. They've had my R 462 since middle of June. First in first out should be the right way to do this.

Seem there may be some favoritism going on. I was told first come first served.

I've been holding off mentioning it until it's actually received (still awaiting Taurus test firing in Miami) but yes, I agreed to having my R461 replaced with an M605 in matte black. MY FFL will be charging me $50 for the full transfer process, so I DO hope the $50 courtesy rebate goes into effect.

Maybe the date of the service order is factored in? I filed my service request on 10/31/2018.

And if favoritism is a factor, then why did it take 15 months for my PT 145 SS to get "serviced"?
