I 'think' the $50 inconvenience payment, once it is finally cleared in the courts, will involve those Rossi revolvers that are given an extended warranty after being actually repaired and returned. I do not know if it will also apply to those like mine that are not repaired but are instead replaced with a new Taurus.

I'll keep following the issue and see what develops once there is a process to request the $50 inconvenience money.

Welp... Just got off the phone with Taurus.. I have a Rossi 972 that's covered by this recall... Ppl seem to be getting 605's as replacement guns which is fine if u are sending in a 2 inch Rossi... But mine is a 6 inch.. I was told the only replacement guns being offered in 357 mag are the 605's... Looks like Taurus ain't gonna get this one back since I am not going to trade my 6 inch 6 shot for a 2 inch 5 shot.... Phone call only took 5 mins too... INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!

So has anyone got a pistol back? I reg for the recall on 9/19/2018. I got a return label in June of 2019. Rossi received my R462 on 6/17/19. I've chatted twice with them and they tell me it's still hasn't been inspected yet. Candice told me they are being inspected in the order registered and received which is bull. If I ever get this revolver back I'm going to promptly trade it for something from a company that cares for it's buyers.

If you liked the 462 you will like the 608...it's every bit as good as the Rossi. Remember it took me 15 months to get a replacement for my PT 145 SS...from the time they received it in Miami.

Another flyer included with return says that under grip, an "R" has been stamped in metal which certifies that Rossi has inspected, repaired, test fired and cleaned revolver under their Enhanced Warranty. Basically a bit over 90 day turn time.
Just got a FedEx Mailing Label from Rossi Customer Service and have been sort of on the fence as to whether I should send in my Rossi R35102 or not. This tells me that they will most likely upgrade mine to the better parts and there should be no problem getting it back, with the probable exception of a long waiting time.

Still very glad I never sent my 24/7's and 9mm Millennium Pro in!

Well, NOT repaired but yes, mine was replaced with a Taurus 605, matte black. My 461 was received in Miami on 4/2/2019, my FFL had the replacement in house on 8/26/2019.

I'm happy to report that yesterday I received a check in the mail from Rossi to reimburse all the monies my local FFL charged to transfer my replacement Taurus 605 to me. With that I think my Rossi 'adventure' is finally concluded.

I am also happy that the 461 was simply one of the carry handguns in my SD rotation - had it been my sole source of protection I would doubtless feel negative emotions over the amount of time it all took, so sympathies to any Rossi owners who find themselves in that position.

Well after 6mo I got a call from Taurus today. They gave me three choices, the stainless 605, the poly 605 or the 856 .38. I picked the stainless 605 and gave them my FFL dealer info. Hopefully I'll have a revolver soon.

Well haha, Its been over a week and no revolver. I did a chat with Taurus and guess what? The 605 revolvers are out of stock. I ask the lady on chat when they might get some in and she didn't know. Hey you work for the company and you have the pc with info right there. I'll never buy anything from Taurus again.

Is there stock on the 856 model? Perhaps they'll switch to one for you and you can then get some closure on the experience?
