Since many of us got work orders when requested back in September 2018, more like nearly a year.

It's my take that Rossi not selling revolvers and being wholly taken over by Taurus that they'll sit on this as long as possible.

I just checked on the status of my R 462-2. As an aside, why do they ask for your address when the owner's name and serial number have already been supplied...who else would have that info?

They report it received 08/06/2019, pretty sure there was a few days lag there, but I don't recall offhand when I sent it. The standard quote for time is now TWELVE WEEKS from date of receipt.

    Quite a disgrace I believe.

That's what they told me, too. To be honest, I'm not counting on getting my two guns before the end of the year. If I don't see them by mid January, I'll give them a call.

I to have sent a R85104 to them. Rossi received 7/29/2019. Paper work sent to me with shipping label gave me a service order # 694716. Fedex tracking confirmed receipt 7/29 by R. Caldera. I called after I was not able to view status on Rossi's "warranty status" page on 8/2/2019 Gave them my address? to continue. Was told I have a different # now 726916. OK. 10/10/2018 was my first registration but after 6 months or so I did another request for a label. I guess that's why the higher service order #. Why doesn't Rossi do what they agreed to do? Repair or replace. Why wait till Aug. 27th for $50 settlement? Had I know I would of waited. But July 15 was deadline what's that about. Seams they are limiting their liability. Good thing it is not my only defensive pistol. Letter I received about a week after says 12 weeks and I can follow progress at www.rossiusa.com/status.cfm. Now that page is down. Anyone have any luck entering your serial# and zid code?

They received mine on June 18th. I tried the repair status page several times just like you and it's broken just like everything else at Taurus, Rossi lol. I did the online chat to check on mine and all they told me was to refer to the same old recall info we all already know. I know nothing about my revolver even after the chat. I think there afraid to say anything. The company is a joke. I have TCP that I like but i'll not support the company with anymore of my money. And yes I'm going to get my $50 refund when I can submit it.

The Rossi that I have in Miami is a gun that I bought when my PT 145 was in for the recall and when they were telling me lies about the repair/replacement which took 15 months in total to get a PT 111 G2 in exchange. I had a lot more faith before that that deal closed.

I have purchased 6 more firearms since then and none are Taurus. I like the ones that I have, might replace the PT 111 G2 if it broke, but there's not anything else that interests me at this point. They could help change my mind with the Rossi deal...but my experience tells me that it won't happen. oops...make that seven...

In years past, some Taurus Employees were members of our forum and would actually monitor the good and the bad report cards they got from our membership. I think this has all gone by the wayside since the lawsuit over the Taurus Semi-Autos and the resultant so called settlement guns.

Also, it seems like Taurus no longer cares about what forum members think of the brand. Taurus is doing the very minimum required by the courts to reach any settlement with settlement owners. Kind of feel like Taurus is thumbing their nose at us.
