    I certainly would have taken a Model 65 in 357 over the #605 that they insisted was the only option for my R462-2. Lesson learned.

    I have called a few times got the were moving to Georgia answer i sent my R981 in sept 2019 , i will give them a little more time then I’m going to call the state police, where i live all handguns are registered. This serial number links directly to me and i have no idea what they are doing with it ,originally this was to take a couple months, from reading this post there is people that sent there’s in well before me this is unacceptable

    Rossi revolver recall-What’s the latest?

    New to the forum. I’ve owned a few Taurus guns, the Judge being my favorite and toughest, but picked up a Rossi 462 in 2018, used at lgs. Got the recall news and finally got a shipping label 8-2019. Finally after many phone calls from September to this month, January ‘20, they said it would be replaced with the back ordered Taurus 605, with no timeframe of manufacturing. After asking to speak with a supervisor, Jessica called last week and agreed to send a Taurus 65 4in Black that was in production. Still haven’t received notification when it will ship, hopefully next week. Anyone have any other news about the Rossi recall debacle?

    Sent in a Rossi 851 on 4-1-19 and have heard nothing yet.

    Just talked to customer support, said 4-6 weeks on the 65, but should be sooner. We will see.

    I am new to the form, wanted to see if anyone else is having the same problem with the Rossi recall. I sent in my R35202 model revolver in on the recall and they recived it on September 24, 2018. I was offered a replacment and I agreed. Have e-mailed them quite a few times and get nothing but a run around. Let me know if anyone has the same problem.

    Tom Speight, call 800-948-8029 and ask to be contacted by upper management. That’s how I got them to agree on an alternate replacement besides the back ordered 605. Hopefully you’ll get a resolution soon.
