Haven't tried the True Blue but I have gone thru a couple lbs. of Silhouette. It has worked very well in my , 9mm and 45 acp loads.

Just ordered a lb of silhouette to try, if it is anything like true blue I will happy. True blue is very fine to me it looks almost like silk when you pour it and from the lb I have gone through it has very low flash and burns very clean. Shot 200 rounds of 9mm lead last trip and there was barley any crud. Have loaded it in .357 mag and it is not position sensitive it is very dense so you have to be vigilant when charging because it takes very little to reach a charge weight. Have used it in 9mm,38 sp, 357 mag, .380 acp with excellent results

Have been using the Silhouette in; 380 auto with a 100gr Xtreme plated, 115/124gr plated of all types in the 9mm and with 200gr Berry's plated FP and Xtreme RN in the 45acp and love all of them. So far the 380 shoots the best with this powder and the 100gr plated bullet. Then as much as I like HP-38 it performs the least favorably in the 380. Don't know why but when I use it in the 380 the groups really open up as compared to the AA#2 and the Silhouette.. It also is my go to for the 45acp. This stuff measures like a dream in both my Lee Auto Drum and Lee Auto Disk measures. Found it to be very clean even in reduced loads and we shoot a lot indoors and the very first time we shot it both the wife and I could tell a huge difference in the air quality.

My first foray into 40 S&W. Cleaned 100 cases, primed, belled, and I decided to use Longshot for these. I'm using Hornady 180 gr. XTP hollowpoints, and I ladder-loaded them all the way up to max. Not sure I can get out this weekend, but I will next week for sure.
