Needed to restock inventory of 75 gr. V-Max rounds. Decided to see what older powders I still had on hand that would fill the bill. Need to use up some of the old stuff. This is two cans of what I found. First can is priced at $1.95, the second took a price jump to $1.98

It all depends on it's exposure to heat, light and humidity. This powder was purchased new in Idaho in the 60's and lived only in Idaho and Montana, always in the house where people lived. That way temp and humidity extremes were avoided. H4831 is not the best with light bullets but it needs to be used and it is still very good, so I'm using it up.

The empty cans are probably worth more then the original price paid. I would use it as well.
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

The 2nd amendment is not about hunting or shooting sports, it is about the citizens of this country having the means to protect themselves and the states from the tyranny, oppression, and misery of an over powering government. Modern rifles are a means for the citizens to stand up to an over powering government.
