can someone share load data for .327 Mag with 85gr Hornady JHP and Power Pistol powder. I see Alliant has data for 100gr but nothing on 85gr bullet weight.
Hodgdon's Reloading Data Center has data for 85gr. bullets. Here's a link: http://data.hodgdon.com/main_menu.asp Nothing available from Alliant using Power Pistol, but they do have data for 2400 powder.

Power Pistol is not the best powder for the magnum revolver cartridges (more suited to auto pistols), but if you want the data I suggest you call Hodgdon and ask them direct. If they don't recommend it for the .327 Mag, at least they will tell you why. Meanwhile, I suggest you try AA #7, or Ramshot's True Blue or Enforcer powders. The .327 Mag is a nice little cartridge and AA #7 should be able to push that 85 grain pill along at about 1,600 fps as long as you are not shooting a snubbie.
I'm finding great performance with A#9 in 327 Magnum with most all bullet weights. I prefer heavier bullets and have settled on 100 gr. and 115 gr. for 327. I use lighter bullets for 32 Magnum. Call or Email all the powder companies with your questions, they are all great to work with, give them the chance to help.
Accurate 5, 7, 9 are very fine and meter perfectly. Consistency is very easily maintained. #5 is faster, #9 is slower. #9 is similar to 2400 on the burn rate table. Look in your load manual at the table of powders, you will easily discern the relative relationships.
