Too good to be true ?

A week or so ago, I was looking at the Hornady Lock-N-Load AP at Cabela's for 399 bucks.

I figured with the 1000 free bullets, it was a pretty good deal, but I couldn't afford to pull it off.

So, I write my list to Santa (my wife) and give her the link, should she choose to buy it for me, and I see that it is up to 429 bucks now

I check Midway. Yeah! They still have it for 399. BUT.........Out of stock

I searched for a while and saw a link that said Mid-South Shooters Supply has it for $369. IMPOSSIBLE ! Says me

SO......... I call my Santa at work, and ask her if I can "borrow" the money to take advantage of this super deal.

She says....... "Yeah, just do it"

SO........... The order is submitted........... Looks like it was accepted

I should have more info on it tomorrow, being a weekday.

The "purchase" was made before the expiration date (12-31), so I will be eligible for the thousand free Hornady bullets.

Seems too good to be true......... Naturally everything was accepted on-line (today is Sunday).

If everything goes through, and they ship this thing. I think I just made a MAJOR score

i got the press from midway. i have used it and like it pretty well. some primer feed trouble, but i think ive about got fixed. havent recieved the bullets yet. they dont offer a very big selection. i wound up taking the 185 gr hp 45's. the rest of the selections didnt fit my needs very well. no mix and match, all bullets have to be the same. hope all had a good christmas, mark

So, RJ...are you cranking out rounds yet with your newest tool? How's the setup going (updates and pics, please )!
“…democratic socialism, the great utopia of the last few generations, is not only unachievable but that to strive for it produces something utterly different – the very destruction of freedom itself. As has been aptly said: ‘What has always made the state a hell on earth has been precisely that man has tried to make it his heaven.'” F.A. Hayek

Czech, you got a PM !

Taking my time with set-up. This is a really fine machine.

Didn't come with any shell plates So for the four that I need it was another 130 bucks Now I see I want some more die bushings also. Wish I knew that when I ordered the plates, I hate paying all these shipping charges.

The thousand free bullets weren't totally "free". I had to send them 22 bucks for shipping charges. It never stops.

I'll post some pics when I get it all set.
