After picking up my pt92 combat I immediately tested the holster for fit, and it fits like a glove! It's still a little tight, but it'll be a great range holster.
Bought a fobus BRV holster, it's a paddle type kydex holster for an M9, well the website said it would fit a beretta or taurus 92 so I bought it, figure I could use it for wear around post (I wear a leg rig outside the wire) and use it for range time once I got home. Bought it from Ebay for 20 bucks and it arrived here today. Sadly I had to turn my m9 in so I'll have to wait til my team leader goes on leave til I can really test her out, but it fits good, easy to slip on and off, the retention is a little too grabby right now (even with the tension screw all the way out) but I assume it will loosen up over time. It looks as though the rail should fit in the holster and I'm hoping it does otherwise I'll have a 20 dollar 4oz paper weight!

Shokr21, nice buy. I'm looking at ebay now, and I see several fobus BRV holsters. Do they come in different sizes? I wouldn't mind getting one for my PT92, but even after looking on the fobus website, I'm still not quite sure if there are different sizes or just a one-size BRV model. I see some cheaper ones listed on ebay for the vertec, but I wonder if that would fit the PT92 also. I'm going to look into this further, as these look like nice holsters!

That's a great question. I was looking for one for my 1911, and I couldn't find a BRV, I don't wanna jump the gun, but I think the BRV may be for 92's only. That seems odd to me so I'm not 100% on it, but I haven't been able to find one for a 1911.

The BRV, for the vertec will fit the 92 with the rail.
I was wondering about that. The only problem now seems to be the imitation/counterfeit Fobus holsters from China.
Thanks Mike.

They are all made in Israel. Some are licensed in China. I have one and it is stamped right on it Make in Israel. I know some importers who buy them from China. Blackhawk too.  I bought mine directly from Fobus.
Bounty, that really helps to know. I really did not know.
So does that mean that this counterfeit warning is totally bogus?

BRV = BERETTA VERTEC = TAURUS PT92 with the rail... When I got the 92 I went on the same search as you all are discussing. Tried a lot of different holsters at gun shows and shops. Bad part is I only get to use it a few days a year since it takes a big baggy shirt to cover it.. And in Texas you only get a few days for that... http://www.fobusholster.com/
