PT945 is awesome - like we didn't already know that.

My son has been asking to shoot a .45 for a few months now. I finally gave in and elected to pull out the PT945 because it is ported and that will hopefully assist him a little. These were his first 2 shots ever from this gun. To say I am impressed with both him and the gun is an understatement. I am shocked that the gun didn't experience a limp wrist malfunction and I am more shocked with his ability to actually hit what he was aiming at. For the record, he much prefers shooting cans and other things over shooting paper targets.

I know I have said this before, but I will say it again - the PT945 is the best sub $1,000 .45 pistol ever made. I will never trade my "nickel plated sissy pistol" for a Glock.

Had a PT945 and liked it, but it always seemed to lose out to my .45 EAA Witnesses, come Range or Carry time. I wound up trading it off for a .45 Taurus 24/7 OSS, which I still have.
