Yeah, $319 on GunBroker (free shipping). There will likely be FFL transfer fees on top of that unless you have a buddy that will transfer it for free. That seems a bit high, but probably not for this gun-rush economy we're in. Seems like they used to go for $250-ish but don't take my word for it (I don't have one and I don't follow their prices).

I only paid $290 for a Beretta M9A1 .22LR a couple months ago. My how times have changed!

Good luck. Just make sure you send us a picture once you get one!

I have not shot the new TX-22, but from what I've read, they seem to be a decent 22lr pistol. I suggest that you don't limit yourself. There are a number of decent 22lr pistols on the market and if you remain open you might find something that will work for you that you don't have to over pay for. Some possibilities include the Ruger SR22, S&W M&P Compact and Full-Size, even the venerable Mark series Rugers and Browning Buckmarks, as well as some others. I saw a TX for less than $300 at a LGS recently, so keep looking and good luck. And, don't forget, 22lr ammo is almost as hard to find as handguns or rifles to shoot it.

Firstly let me say, you have my sympathy for being on the Dallas side of the Metroplex. :P

I checked my go to, Grab A Gun, they are online but have a store front in Coppell. I have bought from them a few times. They carry them but it says they are out. I've found that sometimes if you call them they can give you a pretty accurate estimate on when they will get something in.

Update: I actully found one from Cabela's at Garland, the guy also got me one of their only two boxes of ammo. Will post pics later. The question is, what do I do now that I own my first gun.
