    TX22 Long Slide

Okay now that I got your attention, would you be interested in a TX22 Long Slide? If so how long of a barrel would you want in it?

I'll post a poll on the barrel length.

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

The 2nd amendment is not about hunting or shooting sports, it is about the citizens of this country having the means to protect themselves and the states from the tyranny, oppression, and misery of an over powering government. Modern rifles are a means for the citizens to stand up to an over powering government.

Much past 5.25" I think it would be top heavy and not balance well. Plus that extra slide weight will have to come off some how, maybe some lighting competition style cuts. Really a TX22 Competition with a 5.25 barrel might be something kinda remarkable and make the competition expand their lines as well.

I shot one in Rapid City last year and really liked it. It was easy to rapid fire and stay right on target. I'm thinking I would like to see one in the 6.0-6.5" range, I wold love to stretch it out to 100+ yards with open sights.

If I happen to stumble upon one in person at the right price I may buy it.

Maybe it would, maybe it wouldn't. Point is it has nothing to do with this thread.

My brother has been eyeballing the G44. I have been watching videos of all the problems they are having and am trying to talk him into the Tx22. It already has a threaded barrel and appears to be a solid gun. If he doesn't like it he can always give it to his older favorite brother.

My wife regularly shoots a TX22 very capably. Also, I bought a second one so I could shoot a .22LR semi auto with her. I wouldn’t change a thing.
