Congratulations on your new-to-you PT945's and may they serve you well!

Had a PT945 some years ago, carried it for awhile, but never quite loved it, even though it was a good Pistol. Traded it off to fund my Taurus 24/7 OSS .45, which I still have.

Saw a nickel PT945 at a LGS today, they were asking $399 for it. It's a little rough, but not bad. Any idea on what a fair price would be?

If it was in rough shape, but I wanted one really bad, I may go up to $349 if the mood really hit me at that exact moment.

I have owned a few of the Taurus gold accent firearms, I agree, you have really pushed the envelope with adding the gold flake grips. I may look better had the pistol been in stainless showing less contrast than the black.

Tell you what, send me all of the gold parts and the grips and I'll try them on my PT945 SS and post a few photos for you and you can decide which look better.

Or here is another that I sold in the Classified section, it is the black frame with gold and rosewood grips.

If you will click or double click on the photo it will clear the photo up over on the Photobucket site.
