Mag for early model PT92 with bottom mag release

When I bought my pt92 in ‘84 I never thought to buy a spare magazine. Now I can’t find one with the proper notch for my early model pistol. Bought one from a internet site. “Guaranteed to fit” or So they said. Anyone got an idea how/where to find a mag that fits?

Why not just modify a regular PT92 mag?

CAN that be done? Accurately? Has any one done it?

These are easy to find, most factory pt92 mags still have the heal cut.

You better go into more detail on your regulatory problems. Most of us won't know them. Do you need a 10 round one or something?

You can get Magazine Limiters for stock capacity Magazines: https://www.magazineblocks.com/magen...10-17-9mm.html

You might also contact Taurus for a Magazine to fit your older PT92. I have some older Sabatti made PT92 Magazines with the older Magazine Latch Cut, but they are of the stock 15 round capacity and cannot be shipped to your state.

Did you ever find mags for your gun? Beretta 92S mags should work. Also, some Beretta mags have the heal cutout that should work. Some listings on Gunbroker say "Beretta 92S Taurus PT92"
