    TX22 6000 Range

I have about 1500 rounds through my TX without any problems, but I see Taurus offering to replace the "old" barrels with new. Would the 6 thousand range serial number qualify as a problem barrel? Thanks for any input. (I really like this gun!)

I wasn't aware that Taurus was offering to replace barrels. I have about 600 rounds through mine with zero issues and no leading like seen from other forum members. My TX22 does have mild chattering, but I'm inclined to keep what I've got because it's working well for me. Also, who knows what the new barrel will look like.

If it's shooting well, JUST SHOOT IT! Until it gives you a problem, why worry?

I think Taurus is the only source that will be able to answer that.

Especially since they are back to doing lifetime warranties for the original owner, that's what I intend to do as well.
