Need your help on PT-92 Info

    Hello all,
I have a Taurus PT92 that is so old Taurus has no info on it.
Looks exactly like currant models, but has mag release on the left lower grip panel.
Can anyone help me figure out how old this is?

    Thanks
    RayJr

Made from 1981 to early 1984. Serial number starts with one letter and I think 5 numbers? Axxxxx was 1981, some where in late 1981 to early 1982 the went to Bxxxxx. Hope that helps. Original magazines do not have a cut out for mag release in the new version. I have a PT-99 from the same time frame.

Thanks, not sure when they started, I know I have seen pictures of the second version (non-decocker) with medallion grips however I don't ever recall seeing the first version with medallion grips. The second version with the moved mag release came out around 1985.

Mine from bottom up are 1982, May 1988, June 1992, and Nov 2009.
