Bought a Hi Point 995TS today. Its their pistol caliber carbine in 9mm. They been getting great reviews although they are a bit ugly. Don't care, price was too good to pass up. $225.03 NIB base model but it does have the threaded barrel. Its from a dealer local here in Texas so I did have to pay $18 sales tax but even with that it came to $243.59. Cheapest price I found anywhere else online was $249 + shipping and then FFL fees. I'm thinking I'm going to put an angled fore grip on it (hate those vertical grips) and that's probably about it. I don't want to sink a pile of money into a $250 carbine. Should have it in a week or so as they didn't have any in store inventory.

Congrats!! I love mine! They start out inexpensive, but they are so fun, you have to mess with it. I probably have put another $100 into mine and a few hours on labor... We won't even try to estimate the ammo costs $$$$$$

I bought the .45 caliber model about a year ago. I love shooting that gun! I got the Woodland Camo version. Got the extended mags from Ball. I can toss that gun around like a toy and it's very accurate. Would make a great stash gun.

Ah yes, that is another thing I'll spring for. The Red Ball 20 round mags. They look a little funky in the gun but hey, 20 rounds!

You'll love.it. I hate the way the red ball mags look in the gun. But like you said, they're 20 rounds of fun.

They are just a ton of fun to shoot and are accurate and dependable. Congrats on the new gun. I've not felt the need for a foregrip but did put a cheap reflex sight on mine.

Congrats on the new toy! You will love it! I have a bipod on mine, but I am thinking about the angled foregrip. I am going to use the threads for a cheap A2 flash hider....just cause I can!
