    Help me scope my AR

I have a DPMS sportacle, I currently have a Barska SWAT 1-4x28 on it, it has been a great scope however I want more magnification, I hunt pigs with it and would like to have a BDC reticle on it. My price range is around $200, I have considered the Nikon p-223 but would like more than a 9 power and I don't really like their BDC reticle, then I looked at AR Optics and I liked the scope, I like the reticle, Also the Vortex Crossfire 2 is a contender, its a little more pricey, but I like that it has the hash marks for windage on it as well.

I was going to suggest a Leatherwood CMR 1-4X scope. It has a BDR with ranging marks that works for 5.56, 7.62 NATO and 6.8 SPC. It also has an illuminated reticle for varying light conditions. I have seen some new 1-6X Leupold scopes with a BDR that might fit your purpose nicely, but the price is much higher than your $200 limit.

A good one for the AR platform is the KonusPro T-30, it has a 3-12 magnification but it is more than the $200 limit. It should run around $250-$300 on line.

I have the same rifle and have a Nikon Coyote special 3-9x40. Maybe more than you want to spend but its worth it. My mount is not cheap either but what's the cost of a good setup?

I just bought for my AR a Nikon Prostaff 2-7x32 scope for $149 at Bass Pro. They had 3-9x scope for the same price.

I haven't put mine on yet, although I've taken my Bushnell red dot off. As soon as I get the front sight removed I'll proceed with the operation.

Now owned by Leupold, Redfield's 2-7x33 is hard to beat for the money.
