My first revolver was the .357CTG and I wish I still had it.

    Very Nice!

I do now have the larger version .44Mag 8" model.

My wife's gun is a Model 15 with a 3.5" fixed barrel (must have been a special order). She likes it a lot and is deadly accurate with it. I'm OK with it (when she lets me shoot it) but she drills the bull regularly. It's got a red tipped front blade and a very small notch on the rear and I have trouble seeing those at the indoor range. I've painted the front sight with white and that helps a lot.

    Congrats on the new revolver.

Gotta love those DW's. My first big bore was a .357 VR with an 8" barrel. Quite the accurate pistol. I felt like Dirty Harry with that thing.

Dan Wesson revolvers are very well made and very acurate. Back in the late 70s/early 80s, I almost bought one of their multi-barrel packs at a pawn shop in Denison.

Average retail for those last time I looked was 750-850 bucks depending upon condition, number of barrels, accessories, etc.

Congrats on a nice score! I've always wanted a Dan Wesson but was just one of those guns that never found its way into my collection.
