    Digging out my first gun.

Literally. It was buried in back of a motorhome. Oh, it is a Sigma 9VE. Lost since Christmas.
I had the bright idea to check it out, clean it and see if it would still fire, etc. My record shows 200 rounds.
Memory says it went back for light strikes and thereafter shot every cheap brand I had. The front sight had to be moved but that worked out too.
Good thing I looked. It hadn't been cleaned -(shame, shame.) The firing pin channel had crud and some brass specks in it.
Cleaning was easy. Gave it a puff of whiffenpoof dust (Graphite). Reasssembly was a b-uh-east because if the extractor spring.
After cleanup it felt a tiny bit gritty so I broke it down and tore up - uh, disassembled the sear group. I remembered where to look and sure enough that little bump was still in the sear block. I filed a wee bit and it is better, in fact, pretty darn good.
Clean, greased and reassembled it feels good in the hand again and some dry firing shows the trigger pull is smooth.

Sometime this week I'm going to go and get it all dirty again, hehehe.
