    Charter Arms Pitbull 40 S&W

Picked up a used Pitbull 40 S&W the other day ... dirty revolver.. rode for years tucked in between car seat and console.. gun was tight and had a surprising good trigger both double and single action ... I cleaned it up .. whew ... oiled it up with Zero Friction.. replaced the grips with a new set I had laying around ... POA with factory 180gr FMJ @ 10yards .. recoil was there .. overall another
    Charter carry gun ..

I love these rescue stories - (sniff) - they really get to me. Nice find and well done!

As a general rule, I'm not interested in a revolver made to fire bottom-feeder ammo. But the way Charter did these is way cool. I like it! Congrats!

Actually... when I first glanced at this revolver... I was close to passing on the trade ... but after checking the cylinder lock up , and the trigger DA and SA .. I figured after a hour of cleaning , and if the trigger was that good dirty ... how good after I do some cleaning

and it cleaned up pretty good .. shot little .. hauled in a car ALOT ... a nasty car ...

The 40 S&W has ALOT of SD ammo choices.. that function great in a short barrel .. and I have’em of my shelf at home ;-)
