I've only ever sold a few, regretted them all and replaced them all. At the time, we were a growing family... priorities.

My biggest regret was a Stainless Ruger Super Blackhawk. It took many years, but I did finally replace it with a shorter barreled variant that I actually like better.

I gave a Savage 99 in 250-3000 to my son, missed it, but it was still close to home. They are hard to find in this area, but I did find one a couple years ago in 300 savage, so I now have one again.

And a picture, because why not.

    In order:

    1. My first gun, a S&W model 65 357 magnum
    2. My first semi-auto, a Star Megastar 45acp
    3. A Taurus 689 with Hogue wood grips
    4. A Ruger LCR 38 special that I had to sell to fund buying my grandfather's shotgun after he died

When Leonidas was preparing to make his stand, a Persian envoy arrived. The envoy explained to Leonidas the futility of trying to resist the advance of the huge Persian army and demanded that the Spartans lay down their arms. Leonidas told Xerxes "MOLON LABE", or "Come And Get Them."

This, because it was the only levergun I wanted to own. I grew up with John Wayne carrying a Winchester.. this one was .357 / .38 and it was very accurate over 50m - when I did my bit.

    A Wasr-10 that I sold for 350 bucks, unfired...
A Springfield 1911 Ultra Carry in Stainless

And involuntarily I parted ways with the first pistol I ever bought, a stainless Browning BDA 380 that was stolen about a decade ago... That one really stung.
