Ruger PC Charger: First Look at the New 9mm Compact Takedown Pistol

The Ruger PC Carbine — PC standing for “Pistol Caliber” — is a favorite amongst shooters. It takedown capabilities make it a joy in the field. But what if we had some kind of pistol variant based on the PC Carbine? Well, you no longer have to wonder. Ruger just announced its PC Charger takedown pistol.

Pretty cool looking. And probably so much fun, I wouldn’t be able to afford to feed it. Nice that it accepts the Glock double stack magazines. They go from mild to wild.

Not sure I understand it... you adapt a pistol caliber to shoot in a rifle and then turn it back into a pistol?

I think, MadKaw, that the fact that you do not comprehend corporate marketing strategy might be a good thing. "MadKaw" is much more catchy than "HopelesslyInsaneKaw," and a whole lot easier to type on a keyboard.

From the pictures on the ruger site, it looks like the rear of the 9mm charger will accept an uzi brace.

Uh oh. Another evil looking black gun. One that looks like a space age ray gun, fires 9mm projectiles, and has Ruger quality to boot. I agree... they'll probably sell a zillion of them. But at 800 value units I could buy 2 more Hi Point evil black 995TS's and have 300 value units left over to buy more 9mm kinetic projectile units. Beam me up.
