    Jumping on the bandwagon too.

Welp, since everyone else has been posting pics and stories about their newly acquired Beretta Model 81's, I thought I would share a picture of mine I picked up, not too long ago. I was able to order another magazine from Classic, and it should be here within a few days...I'm glad those mags are starting to show up now. Anyways, I have not got it to the range yet, but will soon.

It is a model 81BB, and is in excellent shape.

Very nice! I think yours is in better condition than mine.

I got lucky. The guy at the store I know, and he kinda let me "look" through the ones they had. They had fewer 81BB's than 81's, but I wanted the BB for the firing pin safety.

I tried to polish out the scuffs on my OEM grip panels...gave one a bit too much heat while buffing with the Dremel...I am on the hunt for a new old stock set for under 25 net.

Well, I'm pretty sure the Model 84 grip panels fit the 81 as well, but don't quote me on that. The 84 panels GOT to be easier to find than the 81 panels.

Great looking piece you have there. The Beretta 81 is a class act.

Just as long as we do not get a BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB version we're all okay.

Very nice ! The closest I ever got to that Beretta was a Bersa lookalike double stack. It was a really good gun, not sure why I got rid of that pistola. Give us a range report when you can !

When Leonidas was preparing to make his stand, a Persian envoy arrived. The envoy explained to Leonidas the futility of trying to resist the advance of the huge Persian army and demanded that the Spartans lay down their arms. Leonidas told Xerxes "MOLON LABE", or "Come And Get Them."

Lol, nope, can't happen. After the BB, they went to the F in the late 80's, then the FS in the late 90's.
