Is it a Kahr magazine, or were you able to find a 1911 magazine that worked?

I bought the Kahr seven round magazine. Honestly this is the first time I have heard about using 1911 magazines in a Kahr CW45. I had a fair size stash of USGI 1911 magazines I had purchased through CMP for $8 each and recently sold them off. I wish I had saved one or two for future use.

Here are a few pictures of my CW45. I keep mine in a Pelican 1170 with the pick/pluck to fit the CW45 shape along with the magazines. I also included a side by side of the 6 round factory mag. vs. the 7 round factory mag.

The CW45 has been in my carry rotation for years now, along with the Ruger LCR 38 spl. Just depends on if I am in a revolver mood or a semi-automatic mood. IMHO, these are the best two handguns made for social work.

So happy with the CW45, that I did a little gun trading, and got this NIB CW9 yesterday. I will get it to the range this week, but if it shoots as good as the CW45, I'll like it.

    I'm liking these Kahr pistols.

I had one of those a few years ago. Sold it. Regret selling it. Very easy to conceal. Mine was a little ammo finicky. Hope you like it. I think I put on a Dawson Precision front sight or maybe the set. Really liked it.
