    Charter Arms 357mag target

The other day when I went to pickup my Charter Arms Boomer , the owner of the LGS , showed me a Charter Arms 357 Mag target model ... 4 inch barrel ajustable rear sight , Stratford Conn. So Im guessing 1978ish ... Overall condition is verygood .. tight ..
Being low on funds ,,, I put in layaway , after haggling a bit on the price ...

This not a actual pic of my Charter.. But its the same model

I normally have a bit of gun money hoarded ... "I use only gun money for guns" I like the idea of having a 4 inch barrel on a 357 .... Not only to milk more power out of the 357 Mag ... But also out of the 38spl +P .. But useally with 4 inch barrels .. you have to jump to a K or L sized frame ... which adds weight and size to the revolver ... As mist of you guys may know about me is , I like Charter Arms revolvers ... and their Bulldog frame .. which is comparable to the Colt "D" size frame ...but lighter .. Charter basically took their small frame and opened it up a bit for the bigger cylinder to house the 44spl round ...

So this Charter Arms 357 mag target model is a Bulldog framed , 5 shot ,4 inched barreled ... lighter weight , smaller framed offering... so lighter to carry .. and should be great for the Remington 38spl. +P 158gr LSWCHP ...

Hopefully I will have it home in a couple of weeks .. I will post pics , Im sorta wondering about the weight .. It seems well balanced .. So it may feel lighter than it is ... But , Im guessing 23 oz . .. With 1/2 lug and larger wooden grips
