Man, I don't wanna HEAR about Taurus and delayed introductions

I've been looking for a Ruger Wrangler. They're just not available. All Academy stores list them, but they all say "not available". It's been how many months now? They've obviously built enough for the magazine testers to test. Academy lists 'em, if hey actually HAD any, for $200.

Well, I have a Heritage RR. Guess I should just be happy with that. The Ruger really offers very little over the Heritage. I just want one for the price.

Same thing here. I don’t know anything about Ruger’s distribution process, but there those out there that have purchased them. Even here I think.

I, just a few few minutes ago, read a review of the Ruger Wrangler. https://survivalblog.com/ruger-wrang...aa-pat-cascio/ The writer states that he had to wait several weeks after placing his order because Ruger is swamped with orders for them. His review, however, indicates that it might well be worth waiting for. Which color you gonna get, NT? https://ruger.com/products/wrangler/models.html

Well, I guess I can wait. I just want it because it's a single action .22 and it'd give me 10 Rugers, 9 of which are handguns, 4 of which are single action center fire (or cap and ball) revolvers. I sorta have a mini collection going. I'd shoot this new gun, though, trust me on THAT.

I think I just want a blue (black) one, but it'll depend on what's available. I'll look at 'em and make my mind up on the spot, I guess. I'm a bit of a traditionalist, but I do like stainless guns. My .45 Blackhawk is stainless. I don't care too much for the multi-colored Wranglers, though. I think I'd just want solid black.

If I ever get one, I’ll have to change out that ejector rod. I don’t like that little round button.

I haven't actually looked at that, but I'll take what I can get.

I was riding down my sendero (my part of the powerline sendero that cuts through the woods) on my ATV and felt something bounce off my leg. I got in and discovered there was no ejector on the gun. I went back out and back tracked my path on foot and found everything, but the screw that holds it in place. I contacted Heritage and they got me a new mount screw pretty quick, but in the meantime, I just pulled the cylinder like my NAA minis and ejected the cases with a little screw driver. It wasn't THAT big a deal. I got my mount screw in, though, and blue loctited it in place and haven't lost it since.

Two Wranglers were delivered to High Limits Pawn in Calera, OK, last Thursday. I was busy buying an EC9s for $175.00 at the time, so I didn't pay much attention to them. One was bronze, and the other was silverish.

I saw a bunch at a gun show on Sunday, all under $200. I don't see them on their site, but they had a bunch of them. https://www.siehguns.com/
