    After a number of years...

Welp, did some horse (gun) trading today, and came home with this 1911. It has been years since I have owned a 1911. It is the SR1911 Commander, stainless.

I will be taking it and my G43X to the range tomorrow, and see how it runs.

Nice pistol you will like it, I have the SR 1911 government. Ruger IMO has everything I want in a 1911 and nothing I don't want.

    Nice!
It's been over thirty years since I had a 1911.
Hope it puts a huge smile on your face every time you pull the bang switch.

Lol, I've been eyeballing this particular pistol for six months. I knew if I wanted a 1911 again, it would have to be a little smaller than the full-sized government model. I picked up a nice Kydex Fobus paddle holster for it as well...fits nice and tight and the gun "clicks" right in there. I like to carry OWB, and prefer the stability of the paddle holsters.

I was using my Colt with a Fobus Paddle Holster yesterday as well.

The next handgun I buy will be the next to last handgun I ever buy!

Nice 1911! Welcome back to the best handgun ever designed!

And Sig, that's one of my bucket list guns right there. Nice!
